The main wire that runs between all of the braces. |
| Ligature Tie: |
These are the small rubber elastics that hold the archwire into the bands and brackets. This can also be a small wire tie that is twisted around the bracket to hold the archwire in place. |

Small rubber bands that patients hook to the braces to help teeth move. |
